This month's blog tour theme is gratitude. I have so much to be thankful for: family, friends, good health, and a successful business. Thank YOU for taking the time out of your day to visit and allow me to share a little creative inspiration with you!
Did you hear that all stamp sets are 15% off this week? Here's one to add to your wish list: Lighthearted Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set #139712 from the Holiday Catalog. It's normally $26, but it's on sale for $22.10 this week. What a deal!
The Lighthearted Leaves stamp set coordinates with the Leaflets Framelits #138283 from the Annual Catalog, so make sure to add that to your list too so that you'll be able to die cut the leaves perfectly. No need for "fussy cutting"!
Check out the cards I made with this dynamic duo! For the first card, I stamped the leaf in Early Espresso ink and colored it in with Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon, Sahara Sand, and Mossy Meadow markers. I felt like a little kid with a coloring book. I love how you can make the leaves look different every time you color them!
Stampin' Up! Supplies: Lighthearted Leaves stamp set, Early Espresso ink pad, Very Vanilla cardstock, Sahara Sand marker, Cajun Craze marker & cardstock, Mossy Meadow marker & cardstock, Delightful Dijon marker & cardstock, Leaflets Framelits, Boho Chic Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals
I felt a little rushed making this next card between the kids' activities this afternoon. I probably would fuss with the placement of the leaves a little more after seeing the photo, but the best part of the card is not the leaves -- it's way it moves!
When you pull up on the ribbon, two layers of cardstock slide out to be revealed! This is such a fun card and really super easy to make! Be sure to come back tomorrow! I'm working on a video and printable tutorial to show you all the measurements and a tip for getting it perfect every time!
Well, that's all I've got for you today! Be sure to come back and visit my again for more Stampin' Up! project ideas and free video and printable tutorials. For now, it's time to keep on hopping and go check out the great projects Dawn Olchefske is sharing over on DOStamping with Dawn this month.
I love interactive cards and this style is one of my favorites! I also love Lighthearted Leaves...which is strange because it wasn't on my list at all until I started seeing great cards done with it!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! I love your cards - I like interactive cards also and can't wait for your video on how to make this!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pull-up card! Another thing that is still on my "try it" list. Will have to give it a try soon!
