Stampin' Up! Turtle-y Cute Arched Wishes Sliding Easel Card Video Tutorial

I needed redemption! The last time I attempted the Sliding Easel Card, it didn't go so well! It was just a little clunky and awkward. I learned from my mistakes and got it all tweaked and ready to share with you! 

I designed this card for a recent Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie video so there are two different color variations using images from the Turtle-y Cute Designer Paper and the Arched Wishes and Everyday Arches stamp set from Online Exclusives.

Which color arch do you prefer for the front of this card? Balmy Blue (above) or Daffodil Delight (below)?

Sliding Easel Card Measurements 

• 4-1/4" x 11" Card Base 
• Cut two lines 1" from each long side from 1" down to 4-1/2" 
• Score between the cut lines closest to the end of the card 
• Cut between the cut lines closest to the card fold 
• 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Thick Basic White Slider
• Die Cut Arch (DON'T Trim the bottom off...it will still fit okay!)
• 4" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper (cut frame with 7/8" border or leave it whole and glue it down before you do all the cutting on the card front) 
• 3” x 4” to go inside for sentiment 
• 2" x 2" Basic White (score at 1")

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Party Piggy Shaker Card

In my last blog post, I talked about being inspired by card ideas in the catalog. Today's card is another one that I CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edited). I took the simple layout with a diagonal designer paper element and added a fun shaker image with the new Party Piggy Bundle from the May 2025 Online Exclusives.

This or That? Stampin' Up! Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape Cards

Today's card was inspired by the Natural Botanicals Card on page 114 of the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. It is one of five layouts that I am featuring on my May 2024 Special Edition Back Pocket Card Layouts. I love to "CASE the Catalog" -- Copy And Selectively Edit -- the ideas shared there. Change the stamp set or designer paper, choose different colors, and make it my own using whatever supplies I have at home. I invite you to do the same! I hope these card ideas inspire you to create your own cards to send to family and friends.

I used some brand new products to make these cards. The gorgeous new Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape has a coordinating stamp set and die -- which also cuts out the washi tape! You can die cut the washi tape as is, but I prefer to put it on Basic White cardstock (you could also use a window sheet or vellum) or provide some stability as accents on the card.

The Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape includes two sets of floral images with different colors. Which color combination do you prefer? Leave a comment and let me know!
