The background on the Crumb Cake cardstock at the bottom of the card was stamped with the En Francais background stamp (using Versamark ink to create a watermark). Someone asked me what the French words meant and Trina reminded me an answer I gave her a few years ago. Translated, it means: "Your husband called and said to spend as much as you want!" (grin) I'll have to remember that line again for next time!
For the bird (close-up below), I inked the stamp in Crumb Cake and then "rolled" it on the Soft Suede ink so that the edges of the bird were the darker brown color.
