Stampin' Up! Leadership 2013: Day 2 Highlights

Day 2 of the Stampin' Up! 2013 Leadership Conference was such a whirlwind that I didn't have time to tell you about it until now! I'm back how in the icy tundra of Illinois. My car was half covered in solid ice about 1/4" thick when I left the airport. Boo! I miss Orlando weather, but it's good to be home with my family!

Perhaps the announcement I am most excited about is the one that Shelli saved for the very end -- that we will soon have the ability to add online orders (and digital print orders) to a workshop order. So when you host a party, you can collect orders from friends and family online and have them shipped directly to those people. Woo hoo!!
There were a couple other fun announcements:
  • Single Stamps will be back! With two new assortments of exclusive images! Watch for all the details!
  • To celebrate Stampin' Up!'s 25th anniversary, they will be releasing a new "Best of" stamp set with a new theme each month. The stamp images in each set will popular images from discontinued sets as well as one brand new image. These monthly sets will be just $14.95 US. And even more fun, they are offering a collector's card! When you purchase six of the "Best of" stamp sets this year, you'll get a choose a $14.95 set of your choice from the catalog! So fun! Watch for complete details soon!
As it does every year, Leadership presentations and classes "filled my cup". I was especially inspired by Rich Jutkins, President of Stampin' Up!, speech. He spoke about finding the "pearls" and getting back to the statement of the heart: "To LOVE what we do and SHARE what we love, as we help others enjoy CREATIVITY and worthwhile accomplishments...in this we make a DIFFERENCE."

Saturday was also Barb's birthday. We had the same Prize Patrol bracelet and as they got ready to reveal the winning pattern, she leaned over and said, "Get ready, this one is ours!" and it was!!

Stampin' Up! did not disappoint with all-attendee giveaways either! Everyone in attendance received Silver Glimmer Paper, Designer Build a Brads, Silver Buttons, Tea Charms, AND a brand new un-released stamp set! (That's in addition to the DSP and stamp we got on Friday!) Thankfully, I had room in my suitcase for all of this fabulous loot!
But before it was time to pack my suitcase, I had the pleasure of meeting up with my friend Felicia, a former downline member who recently moved to the Orlando area. We attended Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-bration Celebration Saturday evening. The Home Office staff were extra silly! We enjoyed a night of stamping presentations featuring Sale-a-bration and Spring Catalog products.
