My favorite color that I am drawn to lately that I seem to want to use all the time is is Rich Razzelberry and Raspberry Ripple. I just love the colors of both cardstock.

My "go to" color lately has been an older color- Rich Razzleberry! I just love that color lately!
ReplyDeleteUh, well. I don't do a whole lot of stamping. The last couple times I needed to stamp a sentiment, I just grabbed a navy blue ink (don't know its name) because it was handy to use.

ReplyDeleteIt's going to sound so boring but my go to color lately has been crumb cake-it's such a nice neutral to make other colors pop- I love crumb cake with calypso coral (which I will miss when it retires). Thanks for the awesome tutorial! I never thought to use the embossing buddy!

ReplyDeleteMy basic go to color is crumb cake and pair it with seasonal colors - now it's more pastels. Almost anything goes with crumb cake.

ReplyDeleteLove how you combined your colors on the chalk board with the new colors and paper and then the retired colors. Both versions are great, as well as the video tutorial. My go to color right now seems to be Island Indigo, will really miss it when it goes away.

Love the chalkboard card, I have really enjoyed this new trend, too. I have really been drawn to Island Indigo lately (I think is the post-Valentine pink withdrawal that does it!) I also love reaching blindly into the drawer and pulling out an ink pad, and saying "what can I make with this?".
ReplyDeleteThe color that I tend to gravitate towards most often is Regal Rose, which (now that I think about it) surprises me because I'm more into purples. (I miss Lavender Lace SO much!) My least favorite colors are Always Artichoke and Cajun Craze, so I know I need to make something with them soon, lol.

I have been useing Rich Razzleberry. But I guess it depends on what kind of card I'm doing. I use alot of my colors depends on what holiday or what I want to make. I love all your work Julie.

ReplyDeleteGreat idea to use the embossing buddy for the smudging. Much easier than using a sponge and craft ink. My favorite color is Cherry Cobbler. I love red and this is such a rich hue.
