VIDEO: Dress Up Pop N' Cuts Card + Blog Party Day 3 Door Prize

I wasn't going to buy the Pop N' Cuts dies. I don't particularly care much for fashion, though I do enjoy watching Project Runway. I think what I love about Project Runway is watching the process of turning something simple like fabric turn into something else - clothes. And that is exactly why I broke down and bought the Pop N' Cuts Dress Up dies and Framelits. It's like magic! With a few cuts, you can turn paper and cardstock into an amazing WOW card!

Here's a photo of the front of the card:

You'll get die-cut pieces to make this card in your free make and take packet when you order $50 or more from my Online Store during my Blog Party, which ends on Thursday, February 28th. (Learn More.) Watch this video to tutorial to see how the Dress Up Pop N' Cuts dies and framelits work together as I show you how to make this card:

I'm not going to sugarcoat it, it's kind of expensive to get all the dies. But if you do it during Sale-a-bration, you'll get free gifts! You don't have to do it all at once either. Buy one piece now and then another next month. The other thing to remember is that the Card Base die can be used on it's own. AND, you will be able to purchase additional Pop N' Cut dies in the future to use inside the base.

Ready for a Door Prize!? Leave me a comment on this post and finish this sentence: "I never thought I would, but I absolutely love ____." For me, it's this Dress Up collection! I am far from a fashionista in real life and I despise shoe shopping, but I am loving creating paper fashions! I will draw one winner for the Day 3 Door Prize at the end of the week. (Sorry, this drawing is open to U.S. residents only!) Good luck!

  1. My stamp-n-scrub! I stamped for years without one. I ran back and forth to the kitchen sink to clean my stamps. Crazy I know! Now I don't know what I did without it.

  2. "I never thought I would, but I absolutely love the Swallowtail stamp." I absolutely LOVE butterflies, but I thought the Swallowtail stamp was WAY too huge!! No one wants to see a butterfly THAT big...lol!! But I saw a bunch of CUTE cards made with that stamp, and now I just HAVE to have it!!

  4. I am not really that crazy about elephants, but I just fell in love with the Henry Says stamp set! He's adorable paper pieced with designs that make it look like he's wearing comfy flannel jammies!

  8. Hi! I never thought I would like rubber stamping at all. My friend invited me to a party and I was hooked! That was at least 10-12 years ago. Iris Frank

  11. So funny! That was the last thing on my list too, but now I just put it on for my April order! (I was on the fence about the pop-up card part, but I think your card just sold me on that one...such an enabler) :)

Thanks for a great card idea--I'll probably be CASEing it!

  12. "I never thought I would, but I absolutely love the dress up framelits!!!"
I didn't like to play paper doll when I was young, but it's so much fun to make different outfits for all the cards that I can send to all the females in my life!

  13. "I never thought I would, but I like embossing with a Big Shot." I just think embossing makes cards look like a commercially made product.

  14. I never thought I would, but I absolutely love the glitter paper and dazzling details. I am not into glitter, but I love how just a little bit can add so much to a card.

  16. I never thought I would like so many things. Then I see them in action and it turns out I do like them (reminds me of Green Eggs and Ham -- try them, try them and you may...). The Petal Cone Die is an example. I thought it would be limited -- turns out it's hugely versatile. The dress-up framelits are another example. So is Summer Starfruit card stock. Several Designer Series Papers - I think because it's just so hard to tell how beautiful they are in those little pictures in the catalog. I could go on....

Great project today. Thanks for sharing about the Pop-n-Cuts die. You make it look so easy.
