VIDEO: Motion Stamping Technique + Tip for Perfect Banner Flag Embellishment

This card was inspired by one my friend Alison posted on Facebook. Thank you for the inspiration, Alison! It's really an easy technique and one that I had forgotten about until I saw Alison's post!

As I am writing up this post, I realized the obvious way to get perfect image placement would be the Stamp-a-ma-jig (D'oh)! But if you're lazy like me or don't have one yet, you'll love the tip I share in the video using something you probably already have: the Stampin' Scrub!

Here's a tip I learned at a Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar last fall. You will never struggle with making the perfect banner flag again!
Watch this short video to for some tips that will make duplicating this card a piece of cake!

Ready for a Door Prize!? Leave me a comment on this post and tell me how long you've been stamping!  I will draw one winner for the Day 5 Door Prize at the end of the week. (Sorry, this drawing is open to U.S. residents only!) Good luck!

  7. Not sure. Went to a community ed class at the local community college probably about 8 or 9 years ago. Then took an hiatus. But resumed in earnest about 2 years later. So I'd say I've been stamping about 6-7 years.

  10. Such a cute masculine card! I used to cut my banners this way but then found it was a little easier using the corner of a square punch. Both ways are much easier than eyeballing it! Thanks for the tutorial.

  31. I've been stamping for about 13 years. I started when my first grandchild was born because I wanted to produce a scrapbook for her. My daughter started about that time and she is so much better at the creating pages than I am so I transitioned to card making. Now I have one whole room devoted to my craft.
