It's time for another Around the World Challenge! This month, we're doing color challenges. The colors for this week's challenge (Pool Party, Strawberry Slush, Whisper White, and Basic Gray) reminded me on a valentine, so I made two love-themed cards.

For the first card, I used a clean and simple layout with the Pictogram Punches stamp set.
For the second card, I played around with my new Hearts Border Punch. I didn't like any of the punched border pieces, but I ended up with a pile of tiny hearts and decided to use them to make a shaker card that would be perfect to give at a wedding or bridal shower.
Stampin' Up! supplies: Occasions 4 You stamp set, Strawberry Slush ink & cardstock, Pool Party cardstock, Basic Gray cardstock, Silver Glimmer Paper, Whisper White cardstock, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Hearts Border Punch, Hearts Collection Framelits (Big Shot), Rhinestone Jewel Accents
On the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip in May, Erica Cerwin demonstrated shaker cards. I loved her simple technique. She put the pile of shaker pieces in the middle of the cardstock where she wanted the shaker to be, put adhesive around the area (she used Fast Fuse, but I just used SNAIL adhesive) and then covered it with a piece of cello bag. This technique is perfect for odd shaped shaker windows like my heart card.
