Woodland Embossing Folder #139673
A somewhat surprisingly popular item from the Holiday Catalog has been the Woodland Embossing Folder. It coordinates with the Among the Branches stamp set, but it can be used with so many other stamp sets and for many techniques. The Woodland Embossing Folder is currently on Backorder, but it's also on the Retiring List, so if you've been thinking about getting it, BUY IT NOW before it sells out!

For this card, I inked the raised trees on the embossing folder with Early Espresso ink and then ran it through the Big Shot. The result was not quite what I was going for, so I tried putting the ink on the other side of the folder. Come back tomorrow to see that project and a video tutorial to show you how.

  1. I liked this card. My favorite part was the sparkly jewels. Interesting how such a little touch can add a special little something. Looking forward to your other design.

  2. I figured out why I liked the sparkly jewels the best: One would expect them to be on the round red circle, but instead they're "outside the box," so to speak ... an unexpected highlight. :-)
