This month's blog tour theme is "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas." I know it's not even Thanksgiving, but I am already in the Christmas spirit. I've been listening to Christmas carols and I'm excited to exchange stocking stuffers with my family when we gather to celebrate the holidays next week. We won't all be together for Christmas, so this is a combination celebration. Are you celebrating Christmas a little early this year, too?
Here are some tags I made up for those early Christmas gifts. I love the Home for Christmas Designer Paper. I've been cutting images from the paper and using them as focal points -- like the Santa and the ornaments on these tags.
Stampin' Up! Supplies: Cozy Christmas stamp set, Home for Christmas Designer Paper, Early Espresso ink pad, Real Red cardstock, Mossy Meadow cardstock, Pool Party cardstock, Home for Christmas Designer Buttons, Home for Christmas Enamel Dots, Gold Cording Trim, Real Red Pompom Trim
**Most of the supplies I used for these cards (with the exception of the ink & cardstock) will be retiring from the 2015 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. Make sure to get them while supplies last!**
Speaking of retiring favorites -- if you don't have the Woodland Embossing Folder (#139673) yet, don't wait too much longer or you'll miss out! There are so many ways to ink up this folder. Here's a card I made with my Stamp Club. If you saw the video I posted yesterday, you got a peek of this card at the end.
Isn't it gorgeous?! I have seen several versions of this card going around and had to give it a try! It's so easy to create this illusion of the trees behind the embossed trees! Here's how:

- Start by inking the Woodland Embossing Folder (the side with the logo) with Pool Party ink. You can use a sponge or a brayer. I just put the ink pad directly to the folder.
- Wipe off any ink that gets inside the crevices for the trees so the trees aren't blue when you emboss the cardstock.
- Stamp the trees in Garden Green ink right on the embossing folder over the Pool Party ink.
- Place the Whisper White cardstock inside the embossing folder and send it through the Big Shot.
