Pocket Sketch Challenge #9: Build a Birthday Card

There's nothing like a little stomach bug to derail your week! I'm finally feeling better and trying to get caught up again.

It's time for another chance to win! I have a new sketch and a new challenge for you this week. This sketch was one of the first I created for this book. The first cards that I created with this sketch used stamp sets that are now retired, so I had to make new ones when I finally finished the book last summer. I love the bright colors in the Cherry on Top Designer paper. The polka dot pattern makes this birthday card so fun!

 

Stampin' Up! Supplies: Build a Birthday stamp set, Bermuda Bay ink & cardstock, Crushed Curry ink & cardstock, Watermelon Wonder ink & cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Cherry on Top Designer Paper, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Hello Honey Stitched Satin ribbon, Whisper White Baker's Twine, 1/16" Hole Punch

 

You can use the layout to inspire you, but if you would like the convenience to using the same cutting measurements that I did, you'll need the following pieces (colors refer to my card above for reference):

• 4-1/4" x 11" Bermuda Bay cardstock
• 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" Crushed Curry cardstock
• 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Whisper White cardstock
• 1/2" x 3-1/4" Cherry on Top Designer Paper
• 1-3/8" Circle Punch
• 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch
