August 2016 Paper Pumpkin Bold Botanical Bonus Project Ideas

If you've been following me for awhile, you know I like the challenge for using my Paper Pumpkin kit to create alternative projects. I love the elements in the August 2016 Bold Botanicals. I actually made one of each project as designed and then I used the leftover pieces to make my own card designs.

Check out my alternative card projects below. I added some cardstock (Bermuda Bay, Cajun Craze, and Early Espresso) and a few accessories, but I tried to re-purpose the pieces from the kit.
 

 

Additional Supplies: 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" Early Espresso cardstock and 4-1/4" x 11" Bermuda Bay cardstock. I cut the squares down to 1-1/2" each and trimmed the banner (I stamped on the back side in Calypso Coral & Early Espresso inks).

 

Additional Supplies: 4-1/4" x 11" Cajun Craze cardstock. I trimmed the Mint Macaron card down to a 2" x 4-3/4" piece. I also trimmed the flower notecard down.

Additional Supplies: 4-1/4" x 11" Bermuda Bay cardstock. I trimmed the Kraft cardstock down to 2" and punched one end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I cut pieces of designer paper from the notecard and pocket in the kit. I combined the "Thanks" and "For You" greeting to create "Thank You" by carefully inking the stamps to omit the unwanted letters.

Additional Supplies: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Cajun Craze cardstock. I trimmed the notecard down to 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" and cut banner tips into the Cajun Craze cardstock strip included in the kit.
