Petals & Paisley Copper Foil Thanksgiving Card Duo

Stampin' Up! Petals & Paisleys Autumn Thanksgiving Thank You cards #stampinup www.juliedavison.com
I love the Navy and Cooper Foil Specialty sheets in the Petals & Paisleys Designer Paper from the Holiday Catalog. I don't think to use navy for autumn cards, but it looks so beautiful with the Copper Foil!

The first card is clean and simple. I used the same layout with banners as the Pinecones and Presents card I posted last week. It's so easy to cut the banner tips with the Triple Banner Punch! The "Sending You Thoughts of Comfort" sentiment could work for many occasions, including sympathy and get well. This greeting is part of the Suite Season stamp set -- which is on sale for 25% off in November. Learn More

I love the way this next card turned out! I die cut the leaf from the Very Vanilla cardstock and traced the shape on to the Night of Navy cardstock. Then I glued down 1/4" strips of the foil sheets to cover the area. I added the leaf frame with Stampin' Dimensionals to give it some dimension. So easy and stunning!
