Control Freaks Blog Tour: Freaky Sneaky Peek

Whether you are coming from the awesome Kelly Acheson's blog or just joining us -- welcome to the May 2017 Control Freaks Blog Tour! It's been awhile since I have been able to participate in a blog tour, but I am so excited to share some sneak peek projects from the brand new 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog which officially launches on June 1st.

As demonstrators, we were able to pre-order certain products early. It's one of my favorite perks of the "job"! Sadly, I have been so busy that I haven't had much time to play with all my new goodies. But it was my turn to bring make and takes to our team meeting this month, so I have designed a few projects.

I love the classic color combination of this card: Night of Navy, So Saffron, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake. The new Faceted Gems are the perfect embellishment for the center of the flower.

I dressed up this Clear Tiny Treat Box with a 2" x 12" piece of Delightful Daisy Designer Paper. It's hard to see behind the bow, but I punched both ends of the paper with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and the wrapped the paper around the box and secured the ends together with the ribbon.

TIP: Use adhesive such as Tear & Tape or a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals to hold the ends of the paper together so the box doesn't slip out!
