First Day of School + Hello Friend Kit Card

My whirlwind summer is coming to an end! After three weeks of moving, packing, cleaning, we have everything in the new house and have closed on the old one. We are still unpacking and organizing, but we are getting there! The kids started back to school on Wednesday, so ready are not, it's time for "normal" schedule! I wish we had a few more days to enjoy the summer, but I have to admit, I am enjoying the quiet house and doing my best to get caught up on everything! Here are my kiddos on the first day of school. This year, they are starting 2nd, 3rd, 7th, and 8th grade. How is that possible!?

Top on my "to do" list is designing the August Stamp of the Month Club and bonus project kits, so watch for those coming soon! Today's card is the thank you card that I sent with last month's project kits. I used the elements in the Hello Friend Heat Embossing Kit to create an alternative design that didn't require heat embossing. I really like the way it turned out!
