Stampin' Creative Blog Hop: Deck the Halls with Perfectly Plaid

Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop! Currently you are visiting Julie Davison from the middle of the United States (Central Illinois to be exact!). Happy Thanksgiving to all of my U.S. friends! Now that we've gotten the turkey out of the way, it's time to deck the halls! And that is exactly this month's theme for our Stampin' Creative Blog Hop!

My cards today both use the Perfectly Plaid bundle. I love stamps with coordinating punches! This card was inspired by a swap card I received from Brandi Barnard. I changed up the colors from her design for more of a natural coloring using Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, and Garden Green.

I tried the same layout with adding Cherry Cobbler and switching out the Soft Suede for Crumb Cake. Which way do you like it best? Leave me a comment and let me know!

I didn't stop there and I kept tweaking my card design until I came up with something completely different. Here is the version that I ended up using for my Christmas Card Class last month. This simplified version is much more of a "Julie" card! It still used the same elements as the first card, but it's not as busy.
