The Great, Big Card Swap: July 2021 Showcase Video

The Great, Big Card Swap keeps growing! This is month #2 and we received 155 cards from 35 different states and 2 cards from Canada! The theme for July was birthday and since my birthday was last week, I kind of pretended that each card was for ME! It was so much fun to open them all to share with you! Return swaps are going back out early next week, so watch your mailbox to see which one you'll get! But first, here's a look at ALL of them!

Ready to jump in and participate in the next Great, Big Card Swap?

How does it work? "Send a card! See them all! Get one back!"

It's sounds simple because it is! You create a regular full-size card for the monthly theme. Include a return postage stamp and a sticky note message inside. (I'll provide the return envelopes.) If you're sending ahead for the next month's theme, make sure to write the month on the envelope so I know to hold it for that month.

I will showcase all of the cards in a video so you can see what everyone else created and then I'll send them back! Everyone who sends a card will get one back!

August 2021 Theme: Designer Paper
Cards must be received by August 26, 2021
Send Full Size Card
Write "August Card Swap" on Envelope
Include return postage stamp. Envelopes will be provided.
Don't write inside! Include a sticky note or loose paper to say hello.

Frequently Asked Questions:
  • Who can participate in this swap? EVERYONE! This swap is open to all stampers, including Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
  • Can I send more than one card? Yes! Each card should be different and you should include a return stamp for each card.
  • Can I use retired or non-Stampin' Up! products? Yes! I want EVERYONE to participate regardless of their paper-crafting collection! I will sort cards before swapping so that stampers who do use current Stampin' Up! product will get cards with current Stampin' Up! product in return.
  • Can I sign the back of my card? Yes! Please leave the inside blank so the person who receives your card can send it on and bless someone else. But feel free to include your usual maker marking on the back.
  • What happens if my card doesn't arrive in time? Postal transit times are unpredictable. If your card arrives late, don't worry! I will showcase it in another weekly video and make sure that you get a return swap!
I would love for you to include a note inside the card -- a little about yourself or just a happy greeting to the person who gets your card. Please note, I will remove any solicitations (business cards, business links, etc.)

Attention International Stampers! I would love for you to participate in this swap! Use this Paypal link to pay $5 USD for 3 return postage stamps. (I'll hold them with your name on them to use for future swaps.) I'm worried about transit times, so be sure to mail early or work ahead one month! Mark your envelope with the month/theme you intend to submit the swap.

Privacy Statement: During the showcase video (posted on YouTube and Facebook), I will provide the first and last name of the card maker. If you prefer to be anonymous or only mentioned by first name, please let me know in a written note inside your card. Although I am entering mailing addresses in a spreadsheet, it is for the sole purpose of generating return address labels. Your information will not be shared or sold to a third party, including another swapper. I will never personally use your information for any other reason besides sending return cards for The Great, Big Card Swap.

The Great, Big Card Swap is organized by Julie Davison, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2002.
