Here's another Book Binding Card! This fun fold card is perfect for square designs -- like the quilt focal point. I love the look of this quilted pinwheel. In hindsight, I would have embossed the entire cardstock and not just the center piece.
I used adhesive only on the edges to create a pocket in the binding. It's perfect for when you want to slide in a gift card, photo, check, or money. I added some extra squares of designer paper to tie in the patterns from the card front.
Here are the measures for this quilt card:
- 4-1/4" x 11" Card Base, score at 4-1/4", 5-1/2", and 6-3/4" (optional)
- (6) 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" Designer Paper
- 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" Basic White Cardstock
- 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" Basic White Layer
- 1" x 4" Designer Paper

I like the additional “quilt” squares inside the card. Just a nice little touch.
ReplyDeleteCute card. Love that you used the fun fold for it and added the DSP inside too. TFS
