Earlier this spring, I designed this Hidden Message Slider Card for my Stamp of the Month card kit and I just realized that I never shared it here on my blog! The Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set and coordinating dies and embossing folder are still available, so whether you make it up exactly I have or change up the images and customize the card to fit your special occasion, I hope you enjoy this "Project Playback"!
Here are the measurements and instructions to make the Hidden Message Slider Card. Watch the video below to follow along and make it with me!
Measurements:
- 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Seaside Spray
- 3-3/4" x 4-3/4" Sahara Sand
- 2-1/2" x 4" Whisper White
- Die Cut Seashells
Directions:
- Score Seaside Spray at 4" and 8". Cut two slits from 3/4" down to 4-3/4" at 3/4" in from each score line in the center panel.
- Stamp seashells in Seaside Spray around the edges of the card front.
- Punch a half circle notch from the bottom center of the card base using the 1-1/2" Circle Punch.
- Stamp the Whisper White cardstock and adhere it to the card base between the slits.
- Cut the Sahara Sand cardstock at 2" almost all the way through. (Do NOT cut it all the way off).
- From the back of the card base, feed the smaller section of the Sahara Sand cardstock through the slits on the card front and back through. Use Tear & Tape to reconnect the cut cardstock.
- Apply Tear & Tape to the 1/2" flap of the card base and close the card base sleeve.
- Pull the slider down and stamp the sand and inside sentiment.
- Decorate the top of the slider with die cut seashells.
