5 September 2022 Paper Pumpkin Halloween Spooky Treats Alternative Projects + Learn How to Make Your Own Treat Boxes

I have subscribed to Paper Pumpkin since the very beginning -- over 9 years of monthly kits and I can honestly say that the kits keep getting better and better! I love the cute little treat boxes in the September 2022 Spooky Treats Kit, but more than anything, I love the versatile stamp set that includes so many coordinating images that you can keep using over and over after you have finished the kit projects!

Even though the projects are professionally designed and ready to complete, I always love the challenge of using the kit pieces in different ways to create alternative projects. Here's what I came up with the using the September 2022 Spooky Treats Kit -- use the pieces from the treat boxes to create cards!

My favorite alternative project is this Simple Slider Card, inspired by swaps that I received from Kimberly Barbish and Leslie Knicl and reminding me of a project I created several years ago. Here's my Spooky Treats version!

Post-Video Tip: Keep the Stampin' Dimensionals on the sides close to the slide piece to keep it snug and sliding smooth.

During my Facebook Live, I also demonstrated how to duplicate the treat boxes using cardstock at home. Watch the video above (starting around 51:42) to follow along.
