If you've been following me for awhile, you know I love "easy" cards. My style is clean and simple and this fun fold card fits that perfectly! I was inspired by a couple swap cards that I received this year and couldn't wait to try out this "Floating Card" again. I've made it in years past and always called it a "Cut Apart Card" because that's exactly what you do! You'll start with a long card base and cut a the "middle" out of the card front and then turn it and use it to bridge the top and bottom of the card.
You can use any designer paper and stamp set. Her are two that I created using this beautiful fall plaid from the Them Bones designer paper. This or That? Leave a comment and let me know which version of this card you prefer -- the Pick of the Patch pumpkins or Bag of Bones skeleton.

I shared this card with my team during our monthly Stamp & Share Zoom and everyone made it using the materials they had at home. I love seeing how all of the cards turn out and stamping with my team members across the country is one of my favorite events!
Now it's your turn! Prepare the supplies above using the stamps, ink, and paper you have at home. Watch the replay of last week's Thursday Night Stamp Therapy and follow along as I show you how to make the "Cut Apart Card" -- AKA "Floating Card":

My favorite is the Funny Skeleton. It's not scary! I did pin this because I love the floating design. Thank you for sharing, Julie.
