Retro Serigraph Snowflake Cards

Remember that technique I posted last week? I couldn't find a name for it and it's a combination of other techniques, so I dubbed it "Retro Serigraph". (Click here to see my other post and a free tutorial.) I used shades of blue and the snowflakes from the Holiday Mini hostess set Northern Hearts to make these Christmas cards. This first card was inspired by the FTL118 sketch at Clean & Simple Stamping. My card ended up a little different, but the basic elements are there.

After I cut the circle for the first card, I couldn't bring myself to throw the scrap away, so I made a second card with the frame.

    Love that technique. Those blues are great colors for this holiday snowflake card. Glad you kept the cut-out background 'cause I like the 2nd card the best. :-)

    Wow! In my absence I missed the first card. It's fabulous! Love this these, too! How clever to use the "scraps" to get a second card. I will definitely have to try this. Thanks Julie!
