Around the World with Stampin' Up!: Last Chance Blog Hop

Welcome to the Around the World Stampin' Up! Blog Hop. I'm so excited to partner with my friends all over the world to share more ideas featuring retiring products. We are sharing projects created with some of our favorite retiring products. Make sure you get these goodies before they're gone while supplies last until May 31. You may have come over from Liz Goldhawk's blog. If not, be sure to visit all of them until you come back through Liz's to mine again. The list is at the end of this post.

I had planned to use my favorite retiring stamp set, Sassy Salutations, for my projects today, but while I was reaching for buttons, I remembered the Expressions Natural Elements. I love these fun wooden greetings. It includes three: Thanks, Congrats, and Celebrate.

The first card I made is feminine and pretty. I used the retiring English Garden designer paper and colored the Expressions Natural Elements with a Rose Red marker to coordinate with the paper. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to make it sparkle!
TIP: Color Expressions Natural Elements with marker to color them. Use Clear Wink of Stella to add some sparkle! #stampinup www.juliedavison.com
Pin It!
When I finished, I decided to make another card so you could see what the Expressions Natural Elements look like naked (that is without color and glitter)! All of our designer paper is double-sided and this pattern is what is on the other side of the flowers that I used on the first card. I decided to make a more masculine card to show on both the paper and the Expressions Natural Elements can be used to create totally different cards. Which one do you prefer? Leave me a comment and let me know!

  4. Hi Julie!
Even though I rather like the sparkly rose red thanks on the first card, I think I like the second card the best.
