Herringbone Technique Tutorial

Did you like the card I posted yesterday? Click here to see it now. I love the way this Herringbone technique looks. This was one of the techniques demonstrated at Leadership Conference last month (and a special thanks to Claudia for the refresher at our last group meeting).

This technique is a great way to use up scraps of designer paper, and the key to holding it all together is the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets. (Click here to see it in my Online Store.) They come in a package of 12 12"x12" sheets and you can cut them down to any size. I used a 3" x 4" piece for this card. Check out my free printable tutorial to learn how to do this technique at home.

  6. Julie, thanks for writing the tutorial, I appreciate it. I had to open the link to your blog, then the tutorial would open just fine. (The link didn't work going straight from the email.) I may have to incorporate this technique in one of my classes/clubs.

  7. What a beautiful card! I love the quilted look this technique gives and it is a fantastic way to use those scraps I have a hard time parting with. I was just surfing the internet for inspiration and came across your blog. I make cards for our troops through Operation Write Home and enjoy checking out card maker blogs from time to time. Great blog you have!
