Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop: Holiday Catalog Sneak Peeks

Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop! Currently you are visiting Julie Davison from Champaign, Illinois in the United States. This is my first time on the Stampin' Creative Blog Hop lineup. I am so honored to join this group of talented demonstrators from around the world to share fresh ideas with you each month!  This month, we are sharing projects from the upcoming Holiday (Autumn/Winter) Catalog, which launches next week on September 4th! The first card I made for you today is CASEd right from the catalog! You can find this card on page 46 with the Come to Gather Suite collection. It caught my eye the first time that I looked through the catalog and I knew that it was a layout that I wanted to copy.

 This is the card that I was inspired to make by the original sample in the catalog. Can you see the similarities? I used the same layout with the large piece of designer paper, the strip of striped paper, and the cluster of elements. I designed this card as a make and take project for Vacation Stamping School -- a large demonstrator training event that we held last weekend here in Illinois. We had over 100 demonstrators attend and focused our training on the Holiday Catalog. All of our make and takes using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set. I love that this stamp set is bundled with not one, but TWO punches!
