I don't usually make up treats to give out, so I always feel extra challenged when Paper Pumpkin issues a "treat" kit. The September 2020 Hey Pumpkin Paper Pumpkin Kit includes pieces to make 20 "Cracker Boxes" with an abundance of die cut pieces to decorate them for fall or Halloween. I love that the box is reversible so you can choose if you want Pumpkin Pie stripes or Cajun Craze plaid. You can also choose to make the box bigger or smaller. Here are a couple that I created with the kit.
But you know me! What I enjoy most about this monthly subscription kit is the challenge to create alternative projects using the pieces in the kit. With all those little bitty die cuts, my first thought was to create a sampler frame. I love the say that it turned out! See More Sampler Frames
You can use the same ideas for all the little 2" x 2" squares and put them on notecards -- so quick and easy!
I was still in "square" mode when I made the next two projects. This first one is my favorite. The square is a little bigger than the ones on the frame and I added some die cuts.
For the card above, I took the diamonds that fall out when you assemble the cracker box. I cut them in half to create the banner pieces and arranged them across the square. Then I added the partially stamped sentiment (hello from "hello pumpkin) and some die cut flowers with rhinestones. So easy! This card is a fun one to send any time of year.
I love that Paper Pumpkin kits include exclusive stamp sets. Did you know that you can print a stamp case insert for your Paper Pumpkin stamps? It's a great way to store your Paper Pumpkin stamp collection after you complete your kit. Click here to get empty cases in my Online Store.
Here are a couple cards that I created focusing on the stamps:

ReplyDeleteJulie if you sold the kit for the framed Halloween sampler, I would definitely purchase one, maybe more.
