One of my favorite Sale-a-Bration gifts this season is the Penguin Playmate Designer Paper! I love all the cute penguin "friends" that you can cut out for focal images like the polar bear that I used on this card.
Last week, I promised to try the alcohol on vellum technique. In hindsight, I think that most people are using the Water Painters or a paintbrush to spread the color with rubbing alcohol, but I saw a post that used the Stampin' Spritzer, so that's what I used to create the background for the tag on this card.
I started by scribbling the Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends marker on a piece of vellum cardstock. Then, I spritzed with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. Use a straw to blow on the vellum and move the color around the vellum. Allow to dry completely before finishing the card.
This Designer Paper fun fold card was inspired by a swap I received from Joyce Feraco.
Here are the measurements that I used to make this card:
- 5-1/4" x 11-3/4" Designer Paper, scored at 1-3/4", 4-3/4", 7-3/4"
- 4-1/4" x 5-1/4" Card Base
- 2-1/2" x 5" Basic White (inside)
