3 Quick & Easy Cards with Stampin' Up! Sentimental Christmas

Sentimental Christmas is a 12" x 12" designer paper with classic imagery that remind us of the vintage Christmas cards. Today's projects all feature the "B" or back sides of this beautiful holiday paper along with other new products from the Sept-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog. The snowflake images in the Sweetest Stars stamp set coordinates well with the designer paper patter. I embossed the cookie image with white on Pecan Pie cardstock and punched it out to create this quick and easy card.

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Crumb Cake Cardstock, scored at 4-1/4"
•  3" x 4" Sentimental Christmas Designer Paper 
• 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" Basic White Cardstock 
• 3" x 5-1/2" Pecan Pie Cardstock (to stamp & punch) 
• 1-3/4" Basic White Circle

I love the color combination on this new card -- colors directly from the designer paper: Pecan Pie, Pretty Peacock, and a little bit of Lost Lagoon. I feel like I am out in the middle of the quiet snowy forest.

More Pretty Peacock! I love this color! Especially paired with Old Olive -- a combination I again drew from the designer paper. I added a little Basic Beige for a neutral layer. This designer paper is not just for Christmas cards!

VIDEO: 3 Card Ideas w/ Marbled Elegance, Otterly Adorable, Happy Hibiscus | Stampin' Up! November 2024 Online Exclusives

New Stampin' Up! Online Exclusive products are now available! This new release includes two suites of coordinating products including desginer paper, stamp set and die bundles, trim and embellishments. I shared a sneak peek of these new products during the Demonstrator Pre-order last month. Watch the video below to see a selection of these new products and see them in action. Here are tree cards that I made with these new Online Exclusives.

It might seem a little too early for Valentine's Day, but I used the Marbled Elegance Suite to make this card for my husband for our wedding annversary!

This new bundle includes several size heart dies to mix and match with the images an greetings. I love the gold foil on the designer paper and bringing that elegance in with the flat adhesive backed hearts.

The Otterly Adorable Suite includes images that you can die cut from the designer paper or the coordinating stamp set. I love the colors in the designer paper: Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, Balmy Blue, Old Olive, and a litlte bit of Calypso Coral. This card was inspired by one created by Stampin' Up! Concept Artists.

Hawaii has been on my mind and creating this card with the Happy Hibiscus has me wanting to plan a tropical vacation! Next year, my husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary! A perfect excuse to get away, don't you think?

I love the Hybrid Embossing Folders like the Happy Hibiscus! You can stamp the images and then die cut and emboss all at once! The dynamic texture makes thie card extra special!

2 Stampin' Up! Splendid Autumn Card Ideas + New Card Kit Available

Today I am sharing more Splendid Autumn projects because I just can't get enough of this beautiful designer paper! Do you have it yet? This designer paper is based on original art created by Stampin' Up! Artists, who were clearly inspired by gorgeous autumn colors like we are experiencing here in central Illinois.

I created this first card for my daughter Claire. I picked one of my favorite patterns and simply embossed the sentiment "You Are Loved" from the Softly Said stamp set.

Both cards use the same measurements, but the second card has an additional piece of foil cardstock that is 2-1/2" x 4" cut diagonally.

Card Measurements: 

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Card Base 
• 3-3/4" x 5" Designer Paper 
• 4" x 5-1/4" Layer

I used the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder to cut the leaf from Cherry Cobbler cardstock and added some copper accents with heat embossing.
