VIDEO: Last Chance: Hooray It's Your Day Card Kit - Makes 20 Cards!

I have been meaning to post about this kit for weeks and now there is just THREE DAYS left to get it! Don't miss out! The Hooray It's Your Day Card Kit is in the Occasions Catalog. This project kit includes all the pre-cut cardstock and embellishments (including die cut glimmer paper, wooden accents, and washi tape) to make 20 cards (5 each of 4 designs). And you'll get 20 cut and scored cardstock to create coordinating envelopes! It also includes two templates and spritzers that you can use over and over again. Check it out!

Here are close-ups of the cards that I created with the kit. I love that the cards in this kit are a little more involved...fancy cuts and folds and spritzing. I feel like it's stepped up so much for "just a kit"! I made all the cards as suggested, but I used a different color reinker (Rich Razzleberry) on one card.

 This card is pre-cut and scored so that it has a spot for a gift card inside!

I chose not to spritz the bottom of this file folder card. I like the "clean" look better.

 

 I love this matchbook style! It  comes pre-cut like that. I used the template and spritzer included in the kit to make the background. (I added the rhinestones from my own stash.)

I think this one is my favorite! It's so sunny and happy! I created the background with the template and spritzer provided in the kit. I used rubbing alcohol in the spritzer and about 20 drops of Daffodil Delight reinker as suggested in the instructions.

Guest Artist: Susan La Croix + Time to Celebrate Cards

I was sorting through my card samples over the weekend and pull out full cards that I could use and came across these cards that my mom made last fall. I received the Time to Celebrate stamp set during our tour of the Stampin' Up! Manufacturing plant in Kanab, Utah while on the Founder's Circle retreat. Ironically, I don't think I ever used it myself! But I love these cards that Mom made. 

Mom (Susan La Croix) is getting really close to earning the next Stampin' Up! incentive trip -- a Mediterranean Cruise! I've already earned it and I'm so excited that we'll be taking this trip together! To help her reach her goal, I asked her to handle new catalog product shares for me.
