Just Sayin' + Retro Fresh Washi Tape

When I started playing with the Just Sayin' stamp set earlier this month, I used samples from the Occasions Catalog as my source of inspiration. For this card, I used an idea from the front of the Occasions Catalog to incorporate the Retro Fresh Washi tape in rows behind the die cuts, but I changed the layout of the card completely.

Retro Fresh Just Sayin' Hello Card

While it was fabulous to have a week off (see my cruise photos here), I certainly came home to twice as much work! I am getting everything checked off my list though. I mailed out the first round of catalogs this weekend and finished designing projects for Stamp of the Month Club. Just Sayin' Love Ya Card

One of my favorite things about a new Stampin' Up! catalog is all of the new ideas! Here's the fourth and final card in my Stamp of the Month Club series for May. I was inspired by a sample in the new catalog page 109. I took some of the elements (like the designer vellum secured with washi tape) and used other colors and a different arrangement of hearts and word bubbles to make it my own.

Just Sayin': Gee Thanks Retro Fresh Card

To be honest, I wasn't so sure about this stamp set when I first saw it. And I didn't order it right away. But the more I have played with it, the more I love it! It's light-hearted and fun. I think it's versatile and can be used for masculine cards, and frankly, it's nice to have something other than flowers to stamp with! 

This Just Sayin' card is the second of four in my Stamp of the Month Club series for May. I paired it with the Retro Fresh Designer Paper and a little bit of the Retro Fresh Washi Tape.

May Paper Pumpkin Alternative Samples + Flash Sale

When I need to find my mojo, I turn to a kit. I love having all the pieces ready to go and finding new ways to put them together. My mojo was needing a kick in the pants this weekend, so the arrival of my May Paper Pumpkin Kit on Saturday was perfect timing! This month's kit was designed to create four full size cards and two mini cards, but I added 3 extra card bases and made a total of 8 cards with all of the pieces.
