Timeless Talk Gate Fold Card

Here is the second card in the March series for my Stamp of the Month Club. This month, I'm featuring the Timeless Talk stamp set. I have been eying this stamp set since it first came out in the Annual catalog last summer and finally got a chance to play with it this month. I love the classic black and ivory color theme with vintage touches like the Delicate Doily and Modern Medley Designer Paper.

This is a gate fold card with a belly band to hold it closed. I started with a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and scored at 2" and 7-1/2". I used a Top Note on the inside of the card.

VIDEO: Hidden Slider Card Tutorial

When I first saw the Penny Farthing bike in the Timeless Talk stamp set, I wanted to make it move across a card. I designed this slider card as one of the three cards for my March Stamp of the Month Club series. The slider mechanism is really quite easy to make and strategic placement of adhesive and designer paper will allow you to hide the slider so it's not visible. The tag moves like "magic"!

When you slide the tag to the left, the message moves out from behind the card front.
