Gingham Garden Framed Art

I designed a special project for my Customer Appreciation yesterday. Each person made these 2" x 2 squares to go in the 5" x 7" Framed Art. I gave them the 5" x 7" mat to put the squares on, but they could alternatively be used on 3" x 3" mini cards, full size cards, or on a scrapbook page.

This cute home decor piece is perfect for summer. It was also a great way for my everyone to "play" with lots of new products from the new catalog!

I love the way the Very Vintage button turned out! I used embossing powder to change the color of the button, which was originally Very Vanilla. It's easy! A special thanks to Diana Gibbs for sharing this tip at the Swap & Share event on the Fiji Incentive Trip!! Here's how to emboss the button:

1. Press the button face down into the Versamark ink pad.
2. Dip the button face down in colored embossing powder (I used Melon Mambo).
3. Use the Paper Piercing Tool through the button hole to pick up the button. 
4. Tap off the excess powder and hold it with the paper piercing tool as you heat the powder with the Heat Tool. Heat until the powder has all melted. 

I used the Simply Pressed Clay again to made up the flowers ahead of time so they would be dry and ready to use at the party. Have you seen the clay in action yet? Check out this video from Stampin' Up! with some great tips:
