Merry Christmas!! I know it's been quiet here for the last few days. I've been traveling and spending time with my family. I hope that you are doing the same and making happy memories!
Here's a last minute idea if you're still packaging Christmas gifts. It's a gift card holder with a unique shape!
My friend Cheryl Soerensen showed me how to make this Twisted Card. I ran out of time to make a tutorial, but I'll design another and share a video tutorial in the next week or so. In the meantime, this is how you make it:
- Start with a piece of cardstock cut in half long-wise: 4-1/4" x 11".
- Score a diagonal line from one corner to the opposite corner.
- Fold on the score line. Fold in half to make a card with even sides.
To make the designer paper layers, trim 1/4" off each side and use the cutting blade instead of the scoring blade using the instructions above.
Don't worry, I'll do a video to show you how! Stay tuned!
