12 October 2020 Paper Pumpkin: Joy to the World Alternative Projects

I finished my October Paper Pumpkin kit! I used almost every piece and only have a few extra card bases left. I made 15 projects (including a couple doubles) from the October 2020 Joy the World kit. The kit was designed to make 8 cards (4 each of 2 designs). 

There are so many great pieces -- die cuts, embossed pieces -- I even used the envelope liners to create my projects! Leave me a comment and let me know which of these projects is your favorite! 

Remember the Halloween Sampler that I created last month? See it here. I decided to replace it with a Christmas one, made of four larger squares (2-3/4" x 2-3/4" pieces layered on to 3" x 3" White and Cherry Cobbler cardstock).

When I create alternative projects with my Paper Pumpkin kits, I like to stick to the supplies in the kit as much as possible. For the most part, I only used additional cardstock in coordinating colors (Just Jade, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Soft Sea Foam). The only exception is the Joy card (where I used the Timeless Tag Punch) and the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots that I added to several cards. I wanted an additional embellishment to dress up the cards and these enamel dots were perfectly festive!

Each Paper Pumpkin kit includes an exclusive stamp set. I used the flower image along with the "love" die cut to create this non-Christmas card that will be perfect to send for Valentine's Day or "just because". I used Calypso Coral ink on Petal Pink cardstock and added a stripe of the Crumb Cake card base to tie in the Gold Foil.
