I have to confess, until this week, My Paper Pumpkin kits have sat in my closet! When I opened this month's box, I almost squealed! I love the exclusive stamps for August and the colors too! Though I have to admit, I wasn't as excited about the card design. No problem! What I love about these project kits is that you can make it up just like the sample for an easy creative escape or you can do your own thing. Here is my twist on the Pedal Praise cards for August:
Additional Supplies: 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, whisper White cardstock, Bermuda Bay cardstock, Baked Brown Sugar cardstock (Real Red flag is trimmed from die cut sheet in the kit.) |
Additional Supplies: Whisper White cardstock, Bermuda Bay cardstock |

I was pretty pleased with the cards! More importantly, I enjoyed spending time crafting with kit! I was nice to have the ink and stamps and most of the paper cut and ready to go! It's kind of like a class -- in your mailbox!

Love your variations Julie. Adds a bit more "pop" to the card. Thanks for sharing the creativity.
Thank heavens I am not the only demonstrator who has been completely bored with what kits the PP have been putting out. I remember the very first one, "Hello There" and after opening it I thought to myself, "I paid $24.95 for this?!"
I love what you did with your cards and I admit that this is the first month I got a stamp in the kit I liked! The bike is adorable.
Julie- I loved your spot on CILiving, you are a nastural! Looking forward to sdeeing you on Tuesday. I am trying to get a newbie stamper to come and join us. She is a friend of both Kris Hauser & me, her name is Sheila. See you!!
