VIDEO: Summer Camping Themed Tent Favor from Stampin' Up!

It's hard to believe that summer is almost over! My kids start school in just two weeks! In some ways, I am more than ready (been counting down since they got OUT of school in June!), but I also feel like there is so much more to do before they start and I don't want summer to end yet!

I love this project from the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog and thought it was especially timely to share as summer is winding down!

Many of the projects you see are original designs, but when we do need inspiration we look the same place you do, on the internet.

That's where we found the pattern to make this clever tent favor. Just type in Summer Camp Tent Pattern in your search engine -- we choose this pattern featured at waffleflower.com. We modified the tent so that it was closed on one side, so we drew in an extra flap. We also made the slit in tent longer.

1. Enlarged 133%
2. Copy onto Old Olive Cardstock
3. Cut and score
4. Then stamp using the Woodgrain background stamp.
5. Adhere using sticky strip and embellish.
