I designed this extended gate fold card for Vacation Stamping School back in August and just realized that I never shared it. This version is all decked out with all my favorites from the Brightly Gleaming Suite including the gorgeous Brightly Gleaming Designer Paper, Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder, Star Designer Elements, and of course, the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and coordinating DOUBLE Gleaming Ornament Punch Pack! I love these non-traditional colors for Christmas!
The different layers on were inspired by a card that my friend Meg Loven made. The card base is a standard gate fold card. The Night of Navy cardstock is 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 2-1/8" and 6-3/8". The 4" x 5-1/4" Pretty Peacock layer is attached only to the right gate fold flap, so it's visible when the card is closed, but opens completely to reveal the inside.
If you love the metallic look, a good substitute would be the metallic embossing powders!
