Take to the Sky Card Kit Now Available + 4 Bonus Adventurous Skies Card Ideas

I just announed on Tuesday that the theme for the September Great, Big Card Swap will be Masculine Cards. With so many floral stamp options, sometimes it can be tricky to find the right products to create cards for your favorite men. I love the colors in this designer paper -- which include patterns that have nothing to do with airplanes!

Here are three cards that I've created using this new suite and the coordinating Adventurous Skies bundle. This stamp set and die bundle is perfect for making cards for men's birthdays, retirement, and Father's Day.

4 Project Ideas with Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration Stylish Sketches Stamp Set

Here is the original project created by Stampin' Up! Concept Aritsts. I used the same alyout for my card, but substituted different designer paper and colors. I used the He's the Man Designer Paper, which includes some die cut images, like the sentiment that I used on this card. Which version do you prefer?

I broke out my Watercolor Pencils again to create this next card, which I also CASEd from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure! I changed the colors to make this card more masculine and created the background with a direct-to-paper ink technique instead of using designer paper.

Celebrate Sunflowers Celebrate You Card

I love the look of colored image on Crumb Cake cardstock. I used Watercolor Pencils to color the sunflower on this card. Adding white highlights really help the image pop! 

I was inspired by this card in the Annual Catalog. I simplified the card so I wouldn't have to color so many flowers. (You know how I feel about coloring!)
