I can't get enough of these gorgeous papers and used the You're a Peach Designer Paper to create this DSP Explosion Card inspired by a birthday card that I received from Carmen Melendez.

The front panel is on a belly band that slides around the gate fold card base. When you take off the belly band and open the card, the designer paper inside "explodes" and unfolds to reveal a message in the center.

Here are the measurements that I used for this card:

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Card Base, scored at 2-1/8" and folded to meet in the middle
• 4" x 8" Designer Paper, scored at 2", 4", 6", and diagonally from every corner to opposite 4" score
• 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" Basic White
• 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" Color Layer
• 3" x 9-1/2" Belly Band Designer Paper
• 1" x 4" Coordinating Designer Paper
• 2-1/2" x 4" Basic White
• 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" Color Layer

Sharing Sunshine Birthday Card + Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop

When Mom and I realized that Sunday was July 25, we immediately had the same thought -- "Christmas in July"! The theme for this week's video was Christmas and Mom and I shared some sneak peek projects using products from the upcoming Stampin' Up! July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. You might be confused by the name, because Stampin' Up! pushed back the launch by one more due to transit delays. The July-December 2021 will officially launch on Tuesday, August 3rd.
