VIDEO & PDF: Magnolia Lane Double Wonder Cards Online Class

Two weeks ago, the Great Lakes Area Demonstrator Development Manager, Shannon West, held a virtual stamp night for Great Lakes demonstrators. We each used our our supplies and followed along as she shared her "Double Wonder" cutting template and card layouts. Shannon took the One Sheet Wonder concept and added a second pattern of designer paper for even more versatility.

I had so much fun that I duplicated the class on Facebook last week during my regular Thursday Night Stamp Therapy. It was so fun knowing that I was stamping along with my friends virtually. It was ALMOST like being together in person!

Supply List

• (2) 6" x 12" pieces of coordinating designer paper. (The pattern should be facing "up" when the 12" side is at the top.) Make sure the patterns on all four sides coordinate so you can mix and match!
• (11) Pre-cut card bases (5-1/2" x 8-1/2") in colors that coordinates with your designer paper
• (4) 3-1/4" x 5" pieces of Whisper White (or Very Vanilla) cardstock
• Extra Whisper White (or Very Vanilla) cardstock scraps to punch for greetings
• Stamp Set with Greetings
• Label Punch
• Neutral Ink Pad
• Coordinating Ribbon
• Paper Trimmer
• Adhesive
• Scissors

4 Easy Card Layouts with Sweet Symmetry Designer Paper

Whenever I need to jumpstart my creativity, I turn to my favorite card layouts. That is just what I did last week when I cracked open my box of new catalog goodies before Thursday Night Stamp Therapy. I used some of the easy card layouts from the Double Wonder Template that Shannon West created last year. Even though I didn't do the full Double Wonder card set, I was still able to use the measurements on the handout to create this quick and easy cards.

The Sweet Symmetry Designer Paper has small patterns, making it ideal for the Double Wonder card templates! The next card is not a Double Wonder card layout, but I wanted to use the new Picture This die. It's quick and easy to layer some designer paper and a greeting to create a card with this stitched window die. The die set comes with two dies -- one retangle and one circles.

And one last easy card. I wanted to show how you can stack the bold words instead of layering the script and bold sentiments from the Biggest Wish stamp set.

VIDEO: Lift Me Up Double Z Fold Card Tutorial: Floating Hot Air Balloons

I am so excited to share my Double Z Fold card featuring floating hot air balloons from the Lift Me Up stamp set. I absolutely love the way this card turned out! It's like the hot air balloons were made just for this fun fold.
