VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Fitting Florets Diagonal Designer Paper Fold Tutorial

Another week, another fun fold card! You're going to love how easy this one is! I used the brand new Fitting Florets Designer Paper and coordinating Framed Florets Bundle to create this Diagonal Designer Paper Fold for our Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie video this week.

I love the new Framed Florets Dies, which includes three dynamic oval dies that you can mix and match. Stampin' Up! has once again coordinated the dies with BOTH the stamp set and designer paper -- meaing you can die cut images from the paper as I've done for the front of this card.

Stampin' Up! Soft Seedlings Thinking of You Card Embossed with Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder

An easy way to add texture and step up your project is by using an embossing folder! I stamped the leaf from Soft Seedlings in different fall colors: Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, and Crushed Curry ink -- and then used the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to this easy card layout.

How does it work? "Send a card! See them all! Get one back!"

It's sounds simple because it is! You create a regular full-size card for the monthly theme. Include a return postage stamp and a sticky note message inside. (I'll provide the return envelopes.) If you're sending ahead for the next month's theme, make sure to write the month on the envelope so I know to hold it for that month.

I will showcase all of the cards in a video so you can see what everyone else created and then I'll send them back! Everyone who sends a card will get one back!

• Send ONE Full Size Card
• Write "[Month] Card Swap" on the the envelope if sending for a future theme.

Frequently Asked Questions:

• Who can participate in this swap? EVERYONE! This swap is open to all stampers, including Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
• Can I use retired or non-Stampin' Up! products? Yes! I want EVERYONE to participate regardless of their paper-crafting collection! I will sort cards before swapping so that stampers who do use current Stampin' Up! product will get cards with current Stampin' Up! product in return.
• Can I send more than one card? Please limit to one swap card per person per month.
• Can I sign the back of my card? Yes! Please leave the inside blank so the person who receives your card can send it on and bless someone else. But feel free to include your usual maker marking on the back.
• What happens if my card doesn't arrive in time? Postal transit times are unpredictable. If your card arrives late, don't worry! I will showcase it in the next showcase video and make sure that you get a return swap! 

I would love for you to include a note inside the card -- a little about yourself or just a happy greeting to the person who gets your card. Please note, I will remove any solicitations (business cards, business links, etc.) 

Attention International Stampers! I would love for you to participate in this swap! Use this Paypal link to pay $5 USD for 3 return postage stamps. VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Trimming the Tree Pop Up Book Fold Card Tutorial

This week, Mom and I are featuring the Trimming the Tree stamp set in our Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie video. This standalone stamp set caught our eye in the Annual Catalog. You may have gotten it in September when Stampin' Up! offered coordinating dies in September, but Mom and I focused on sharing card ideas with just the stamp set.

Here is the card that I created for our video. I love the simple layout for the outside, but the best part is fun fold inside!

This or That? Stampin' Up! Storyboook Gnomes Cards + 6 Bonus Ideas

I'm not a big fan of the Kindest Gnomes bundle from the July-December 2022 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog, so when Mom and I talked about featuring this suite for our weekly Sunday Stamping video series, I decided to focus on the detailed die cuts instead of the stamped images. I love the puns in this set and the paper is beautiful! This version features the "B" sides with snowflakes and Balmy Blue and Pacific Point. I used Wink of Stella on the gnome's beard.

I made another version of the card using the Happy Forest Friends Designer Paper and alternative colors: Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, and Calypso Coral. Which color version do you prefer?
