4 Stampin' Up! By the Bay Cards + Center of Attention Fun Fold Card Tutorial

Here are some other Seaside Bay cards that I shared in the video. I love the way the Seasshells 3D Embossing Folder coordinates with the designer paper. For the first card, I die cut the bird from the designer paper. On the second card, I stamped in Navy and die cut using the same die.

More recently, I used the By the Bay Designer Paper with the Sea Turtle stamp set. See my Sea Turtle cards. And I tried the Center of Attention Fun Fold Card with the now sold-out Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set. I love how versatile this designer paper is! It also goes well with the Season of Chic bundle! In fact, the shell die from that bundle will die cut one of the shells in the designer paper!

• Turn & Cut between score lines at 1-1/4" from each long side
• Turn Back & Score at 4" from top to cut line and from cut line to bottom.

5 Stampin' Up! Regency Park Suite Projects + Videos

The first time I use a new stamp set, I usually turn to the catalog samples for inspiration and start by CASEing a project or two. That's exactly what I did when I designed cards for Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie! I loved this simple layout and just changed the colors a little to make my own version.

What does CASE mean? I prefer the definition: Copy And Selectively Edit. Sometimes I copy ideas exactly as they are, but most of the time I tweak or change something -- changing the colors or the stamp set -- to make it my own.

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Season of Chic Corner Folder Card Tutorial

I was inspired by a card I received from Ann Hanson for the Great, Big Card Swap and just had to give this fun fold a try for myself! I traced it back to Rachel Tessman who shared it in the fall and called it a Corner Fold Card. Robin Armbrecht shared it more recently as a Corner Squash Card. Whatever you want to call it, I hope you'll try it at home because it's easy peasy! I've provided the measurements and a template for you to use at home. My version of this fun card uses the Season of Chic bundle and Texture Chic designer paper. 

Corner Fold Card Measurements: 

• 7" x 8-1/4" Texture Chic Designer Paper, scored at 2-3/4" from top and left edges and diagonally from 5-1/2" at top to 5-1/2" down left side 
• (2) 3-5/8" x 4-5/8" Soft Succulent Cardstock
