Stampin' Up! Brushed with Beauty Card in a Card Tutorial

Stampin' Up1 has been releasing new products every other month all year! This month's Online Exclusive release includes two suites with coordinating products like designer paper, stamps, dies, ribbon, and embellishments. In last week's Sunday Stamping video, Mom and I showcased the Brushed with Beauty Suite. I also used my favorite new bundle -- Banner Sayings which has a coordinating punch with three banners. I'll definitely be using this one A LOT! 

This "Card in a Card" was inspired by the Curly Girls swaps that I shared in the The Great, Big Card swap Video, October 2025, Part 2. Check out the end of the video to see all of their different creations! Here's my version:

I love the layering on the middle piece. I embossed the vellum with the Beautiful Pattern Embosing Folder and layered the die cut and punched banners over the top.

7 Stampin' Up! Elegant Pine Snowflake Card Ideas + Sunday Stamping Video

Each week, Mom and I feature a different product in our Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie video series. REcently, we shared projects using the Elegant Pine Snowflake Suite from the September 2025 Online Exclusives. This new designer paper "features patterns of greenery, holly, and eucalyptus in moody blues and mossy greens" that will bring " a fresh, wintery charm to your cards, tags, and other paper projects." I love this earthy take on snowflakes that incorporate traditional red and green! 

The cards that I designed for our Sunday Stamping video were inspired by the card layouts from the October 2025 Snowy Delights Downloadable Class Handout from Stampin' Up1. (Note: Demonstrators have access to these downloadable class handouts created by Stampin' Up! in the Succeed Weekly emails. I love it when Stampin' Up! designs dies that die cut the stamped image (below) and the designer paper (above)!  To mimic the designer paper, I first inked the snowflake below with Shaded Spruce ink, then tapped the edges of the stamp on the Secret Sea ink pad. After stamping, I added the smaller snowflake in the center using Old Olive ink.

6 Stampin' Up! Autumn Toile Cards with One Sheet Wonder Template

It finally feels like fall in central Illinois and I am enjoying the changing colors and cooler temperatures. Embracing the season, I decided to try the One Sheet Wonder template on page 42 of the Sept-Dec 2025 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog and create some cards with the Autumn Toile designer paper.

The cards on page 42 each showcase a difference technique. I tried to follow along and use the same techniques on my cards. For the first card, I fussy cut images from the designer paper for my focal point. I used other DSP images on the other cards, too.

The technique on the second card was supposed to be coloring or drawing on the designer paper to add to the printed design, but my patterns already had color, so I didn't make an alterations.

It's subtle, but the technique on the next card is to use a Blending Brush to add color to the designer paper. I used Gray Granite ink over the designer paper so that the Very Vanilla cardstock strip with the greeting would stand out more.

For the other cards, I changed the vertical layouts to horizontal layouts, but for this card, I used the same orientation. The technique was die cutting a shape from the designer paper, but I felt like my die cut tree covered up the beautiful paper design, so I tucked the other layer behind the main background. I used the With You In Mind stamp set for the greeting. The two Mossy Meadow cardstock strips are 3/4" x 5".

This card was my favorite layout of the One Sheet Wonder cards, but I struggled with the light Gray Granite color. I tried stamping on the banners and ended up crumpling them for texture (a poor stamper's embossing folder!) and adding some ink direct to paper. I also used a Blending Brush with Cajun Craze ink on the background piece for more contrast.

I full embraced "clean and simple" with the last card layout. The technique featured in the catalog was modifying the designer paper with markers. I added stripes to create a plaid using Stampin' Write markers. (Be sure to check out this discontinued product line in the Last Chance Clearance Rack!)
