Cool Treats You're Sweet Card

It's easy to forget about the Stitched Shape Framelits since they don't appear in any of the current catalogs, but this early release from the NEW Annual Catalog coming in June is versatile and great for all occasions. These framelit dies includes four sizes each of squares, circles, and ovals. If you have a Big Shot, I think these dies are a must-have!

Today's card is a CASE of a card I designed in January. I changed up the stamped images to better balance out the card kit I designed for my Stamp of the Month Club with the Cool Treats stamp set. It's not too late to sign up and get the March kit! Learn More.

I cut the bottom 1" off the card front and added a piece of 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" Designer Paper on the inside of the card so that it would have a little bit of a different opening.

This card is one of three designs in my February Stamp of the Month Club card kit. There is no commitment when you join my Stamp of the Month Club! I'll add you to my club mailing list and you'll receive one email each month revealing the stamp set and card designs. You can choose when you want to participate by simply replying to that email.

Each month, I feature a different stamp set. Those who participate in March will receive the Cool Treats Photopolymer stamp set (or substitute a different set), pre-cut materials to make 6 cards (2 each of 3 designs), printed instructions with a color photo of each card, and Priority Mail shipping. Sale-a-Bration Make a Medallion Thank You Card

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Glimmer Paper Pack is now longer available as a Sale-a-bration gift option. Stampin' Up! has other colors of glimmer paper that is 12x12 and could easily be cut down and substituted for this card.

The good news is that you can still pick the Make a Medallion stamp set for your free Sale-a-bration gift wen you orders $50 or more by March 31. For many of the attendees at our class last weekend -- making this card made them want the stamp set! There are so many ways to use the stamps in this set. Be sure to watch the video below for more project ideas and get your order in before it's too late!

Yesterday, Stampin' Up! announced the addition of 7 new gift options that you can choose from when you order $50 or more during Sale-a-bration. I compiled all of the gifts into one list. See All Sale-a-Bration Gift Options. I will try to keep this page updated when items become unavailable. The Card Tin and Glimmer Paper have already "sold out". Make sure to get your orders in soon! Delicate Details, one of the Sale-a-bration stamp set, has lots of potential! I love these projects, created by Stampin' Up! Concept Artists. My favorite is the card with the die cut butterfly!

Make a Medallion Glimmer Thanks Card

I am doing a card class in Springfield this weekend. This was one of the cards that I designed and didn't use. It uses two of the three new Sale-a-bration gifts that were introduced last month: the Make a Medallion stamp set and the Glimmer Paper Pack. Did you see my post with the Make a Medallion video? (See it here.) There are so many ways to use the stamps in this set!

I used some of the smaller stamps to create a border at the bottom of this card. It's hard to tell in the photo because I used Mint Macaron ink on the Mint Macaron cardstock. Next week, I'll share the design that I ended up using for the class! I switched the layout and changed the colors to Bermuda Bay and Old Olive! You're going to love it!

Stampin' Up! Supplies: Make a Medallion stamp set (SAB), Mint Macaron ink & cardstock, Sweet Sugarplum ink & cardstock, Basic Black ink, Whisper White cardstock, Glimmer Paper Pack (SAB), Classic Label Punch, Layering Circle Framelits, Stampin' Dimensionals
