VIDEO: CASEing Fun Fold Cards from the New Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog

Whenever I am feeling stuck for card ideas, I turn to the Stampin' Up! Catalog and browse the project samples. I always feel so inspired to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) the cards created by Stampin' Up! Concept Artists and make them my own. I recently CASEd all three projects on pages 120-121 in the 2024-2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog that featured ideas for fun folds. Here are my versions of those cards.

Sweet Peas Fun Fold Card

I changed up the measurements of this fun fold card to use 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock instead of 12" x 12". I chose the new Shy Shamrock to showcase the cute images in the Sweet Pea stamp set. I love this stamp set!

Card Measurements

• 5-1/2" x 11" Shy Shamrock Cardstock, scored at 4-1/4", 7", 9-3/4"
• (2) 1" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper (front)
• 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper (middle)
• 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" Basic White Cardstock
• 4" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper (back)

Labeled with Love "Peekaboo" Diagonal Fold Card

 
The first card was inspired by two swaps I received from the Great, Big Card Swap. This hot technique was also recently featured on Stampin' Up!'s social media with a project designed by Artisan Bree Renwick. 

To do the Blackout technique -- emboss a piece of white cardstock with a 3D Embossing Folder. (I used the Layered Florals Embossing Folder.) Use Stampin' Blends to color the DEbossed side of the cardstock -- that's the side that is indented. Take a black ink pad and apply it directly to the cardstock on the same side that you colored. 

One of the changes that I made after the livestream video was that I adhere the second half of the diagonal designer paper to the inside of the card base. The designer paper looks like when complete piece when the card is closed.

• 4-1/4" x 11" Pretty in Pink Cardstock, scored at 5-1/2"
• 4" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper, cut diagonally
• 3-1/4" x 9" Petunia Pop Cardstock, scored at 4-1/2"
• (2) 3" x 4-1/4" Basic White Cardstock

Labeled with Love Butterfly Spinner Card

This is a card you can really put your "two cents" into! Literally! Use two pennies, two dimes, two washers, or two punches circles to create this spinner card with the Curved Label Punch.

• 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Summer Splash Cardstock
• 4" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper
• 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Thick Basic White Cardstock

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Flowers of Beauty & Unbounded Love Birthday Card

The Unbounded Beauty Suite in the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog features the 2024-2026 In Colors. I chose two of them: Peach Pie and Shy Shamrock for this card that I designed for a recent episode of Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie.

The Unbounded Beauty suite includes two bundles -- the delicate Flowers of Beauty and the versatile Unbounded Love. I think the second bundle is my favorite -- with a mixed occasions stamp and tag dies that can be widely used with other stamps -- Unbounded Love is definitely the MVP in the new catalog!

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! 2024-2026 In Color Cards + Last Chance for Starter Kit Special

I love this year's Stampin' Up! In Colors! Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock, Summer Splash, and Petunia Pop are bright and fun spring and summer colors that remind me of rainbow sherbet! I keep changing my mind on my favorite because truly, I love them as a complete collection! Here is a set of circle-centric cards that I designed for a recent Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie episode. 

I used different circle punches to create this design that showcases different monochromatic patterns from the 2024-2026 In Color Designer Paper pack. I stamped the sentiment from the new Simply Said stamp set in black ink on a white circle and then added a bit of the same color ribbon behind the sentiment. And of course -- adding some matching resin dots to finish off each card.
