Remembering Grandma Scrapbook Pages

A year ago today I was working on a different scrapbook page layout of my mother-in-law as a way to cope with the news of her passing. One year later, I am finding comfort in the same activity and trying to focus on happy memories instead of all of the things we wish she was here for. Here is the 8-1/2" x 8-1/2" layout I made for her book today.

I couldn't decide what to do for a title, so I left it off completely. I like the extra space on the first page and how it brings the focus to the photo. Journaling: Grandma & Claire take a break to post for a picture. There's nothing Grandma loves more than chasing the kids and watching them play in the background.

I didn't use any stamps on this layout! The images are cut from the larger pattern in the Pink Flamingo Designer Series paper. I love the fun colors in this pack!

Supplies: Pink Flamingo DSP, Real Red marker & cardstock, Pretty in Pink cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Tempting Turquoises cardstock, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, marker
