Sneak Peek: Simply Sketched Color Swatch Card

I had a fabulous weekend, filled with stamping! My friend Janet came to visit, which gave me an excuse to spend some much-needed time "just playing" with my new stamps. After the crazy month I've had, I need the stamp therapy! I don't often stamp just to stamp. I'm usually designing projects for an event, so it was nice to have a little freedom to just create. Here's one of the first cards that I made.

 

I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest. I love the simply color swatch effect. Do you recognize these colors? Top to bottom they are the (returning In Color ) Blushing Bride and (new In Colors) Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush. These colors, along with the hostess stamp set Simply Sketched, will be available starting Friday, May 31!

Clockworks Masculine Birthday Card

Here is the second card in my May Stamp of the Month Club series using the Clockworks stamp set. This set is great for masculine cards. See more masculine card ideas here.

It's hard to tell in this photo, but I punched a circle from the Window Sheets to put over the face of the pocket watch and secured it with a silver brad.
