6 Stampin' Up! Sunrise Sailing Project Ideas + Free PDF Download

Hybrid Embossing Folders have dies that fit right into the embossing folder so you can die cut and emboss at the same time! I love these dynamic, textured images so I had to get the Sunrise Sailing Bundle when it was released as an Online Exclusive product in May 2025. Here is the card that I created to highlight this new bundle for a recent Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie video.

I used Blending Brushes to highlight details of the embossing folder on my card. That technique was inspired by projects that were designed by Stampin' Up! in a free class handout highlighting blending techniques.

I just announed on Tuesday that the theme for the September Great, Big Card Swap will be Masculine Cards. With so many floral stamp options, sometimes it can be tricky to find the right products to create cards for your favorite men. I am so happy that Stampin' Up! has offered some new options in the last few years -- the most recent being the new Take to the Sky Suite. I love the colors in this designer paper -- which include patterns that have nothing to do with airplanes!

Here are three cards that I've created using this new suite and the coordinating Adventurous Skies bundle. This stamp set and die bundle is perfect for making cards for men's birthdays, retirement, and Father's Day.

VIDEO: Stampin' Up! Take to the Sky | Adventurous Sky Peek-a-boo Flip Card Tutorial

I was inspired by a recent card that Sharon Groves and Myra Williams shared for the Great, Big Card Swap and couldn't resist bringing back this fun fold card design that I first shared back in 2016. (See the original project.)

I designed this version for a recent Sunday Stamping with Susan & Julie video using the Take to the Sky Suite from the new Annual Catalog. This suite is perfect for making masculine cards for Father's Day, birthdays, retirement, or any occasion!

When you open the card, the image in the punched window "magically" changes! Here's a top view that shows the "flip" mechanism.

Stampin' Up! Year to Celebrate Birthday Card + 3 Bonus Project Ideas

The Year to Celebrate stamp set caught my eye in the Sept-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog because of the bold images and the birthday sentiments, but it was the project samples created by Stampin' Up! Concept Artists that sold me on this set!

I used the bright patterns from the Merry Bold & Bright designer paper to make this birthdy card -- based on a layout that one of my team members shared during one of our Stamp & Share Zoom gatherings.  I've listed all the measurements below so you can try this fun layout at home!
