I wanted to use the new Butterflies Thinlits for one of the make and take projects at Sheryl's party earlier this week, but I also wanted to do something quick and easy. This card is exactly that. I shared some tips for die cutting the butterflies.
- I used this sandwich in the Big Shot: (from bottom to top) Cutting Pad, Dryer Sheet, Cardstock, Wax Paper, Thinlit, Cutting Pad.
- I ran this through the Big Shot twice to make sure I got a good cut.
The cardstock popped right out of this intricate die cut. It's amazing! Check out the card we made.
Here's another alternative with a different pattern from the Painted Blooms Designer Paper series. Leave me a comment and let me know which one you like better!

They are both great cards, but I like the first one a little more because the background is less busy. It makes the butterfly pop more. And I love the tips for using an intricate die cut. Clever!
Beautiful - love the butterfly and the DSP!
I love this card. It has become my "go to" card when I need something quickly, easy to mail, and pretty. I've used several different papers with it and it always is a winner. Just made two earlier this week to use up some pretty scraps. Love it!
