Stampin' Up! Convention, Day 3: On Stage Demos + CentreStage

I just realized I never posted highlights from the last day of Convention! It was a short day. Only one class and then the closing General Session. Rich Jutkins, the President of Stampin' Up!, gave a "State of Stampin' Up!" address. It was exciting to hear that sales are up in all markets! As a company, Stampin' Up! is as healthy and strong as ever!

One of my favorite parts of Convention is the on stage demonstrations and this year was no exception. Here are some of my favorite projects that Shannon West shared during the last General Session.

I love these little 3" x 3" cards that Shannon shared using the "A Little Something" stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.

And then a cute little box to put them in. This box was created with the new Square Pillow Box Thinlit that will be released in the Holiday Catalog new month. Even better -- you can get the stamp set to make the cards and the thinlit together in a bundle and save 15%! There are LOTS of new bundles in the Holiday Catalog!

I love watching Stampin' Up! staff demo on stage, but even more, I love watching my fellow demonstrators share ideas and tips! This year's Demonstrator Theater was awesome! Here are some of my favorite projects created by Lyssa Zwolanek and Alison Okamitsu.

Lyssa colored and stamped on the Timeless Elegance Designer Paper.
I loved this tip that Lyssa shared. She punched out various scallop circles and then embossed them with the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder (#133737).
I absolutely adore this wreath that Allison created with the Vintage Leaves Bundle (stamp set and coordinating framelits)! Gorgeous!
The very last part of Convention was CentreStage -- an event exclusively for leaders performing at the title of Manager or above. We had the opportunity to re-group, identify things we learned and create an action plan for incorporating them into our business both personally and with our downline. The best part was the keynote speaker, Jenna Glover.

Jenna talked about living an energy-efficient life. Her message really hit home with me! I have been neglecting some of my basic needs (SLEEP!) to take care of growth needs. As we get into our "normal" schedule this fall with the kids returning to school (in one week!), I hope to find a better balance in my life and make sure all those basic needs are being met. You can watch Jenna Glover's talk here.

Mom and I snapped a quick pic with Sara Douglass at the end of the event. Sara is doing an amazing job as Interim CEO!
It is always sad to pack up go home after Convention. I had so much fun spending time with my stamping friends. I am looking forward to the next Stampin' Up! Event -- the OnStage Local event in November to launch the Occasions Catalog. I'll be attending the Milwaukee event. Join my team and you can attend this demonstrator-only event too! OnStage Local will be held in 6 cities across the country, so even if you don't live near me, you can attend this event and experience a Stampin' Event in person!
